Gina thinks she might be pregnant and
warns Martin to keep quiet. Within an hour the whole city knows. Pam drops
by, and just happens to have a pregnancy test in her purse. Martin screws
it up and has to go out at midnight and get another one. Tommy and Cole
argue over who will be godfather.
5- 2 Back
in Trouble Again
Martin injures his back just before
Gina's awards dinner. Gina had asked him not to play basketball, but he
did anyway. He attempts to attend the dinner with his back thrown out.
5- 3 Sophomore Jinx
Communication problems prompt Martin and Gina to see a marriage counselor.
5- 4 Working
Girls
Pam and Gina work together to win an
advertising account.
5- 5 Boo's
in the House
Unbelievable! Martin has found a 4 bedroom
house for only 50G. They go to check it out on Halloween night, and make
a down payment on the spot. But soon after, people start to disappear.
Is this place huanted, or is Martin being hustled?

Hard in the School Yard
Members of the Gold medal winning US
Women's Basketball Team, Dawn Staley, Teresa Edwards, Rebecca Lobo, and
Sheryl Swoopes guest star on this special show. The basketball teams vie.

Life You Save...Might Make You Rich
At a restaurant Martin saves a wealthy
African prince from choking to death. The Prince repays Martin with lavish
gifts. But when the Prince shows an interest in Gina, Martin misunderstands
his intent.
5- 8 Snow
White
The gang goes on a ski vacation. Pam
is accompanied by an Afro-centric extremist. Tommy shows up with a White
girl, and may be interested in marriage. Could it be?
5-9 Come
on over to My Place
Cole attempts to entertain a girl at
his Mom's house. But Mom shows up and ruins everything. Cole gets his own
apartment. But it turns out to be a real dive. Cole and Shanise are happy
anyway.
5-10 Scrooge
It's Christmas. Martin's being stingy.
He's bought gifts for no one but himself. The gang goes to Nipsey's
for Christmas Eve, but Martin stays home and falls asleep. He dreams of
a horrible trilogy. Past, present, and future. The ghosts are played by
Pam, Gina, Tommy, and Cole.
5-11 Waiting,
Debating and Ovulating
Martin and Gina want a baby. So they
try every night. But Martin suddenly ends up on a sequestered jury. He
tries to sneak out to meet Gina, and throws the trial.
5-12 You
Play Too Much
Oh, how sweet it is! Sick of Martin's
pranks, Pam vows revenge. And the last laugh may be hers when Martin helps
a burglar rob his own place, thinking the crook is part of her plan.
5-13 Ain't
That a Ditch
Even with Gina out of town, there's
still a woman cramping Martin's style. Gina's Mom shows up the same evening
that he hopes to go night-clubbing with Tommy and Cole.
5-14 Goin'
Overboard (1)
Gina misses the boat for a romantic
cruise. Martin finds himself at sea with Pam, Ms. Gerri, several Love
Boat characters, and a suicidal stalker. Part 1 of 2.
5-15 Goin'
Overboard (2)
Conclusion. Martin deals with various
cast members from the Love Boat while enduring a romantic cruise
without Gina. Then he gets kidnapped, bound, and gagged by a stalker.
5-16 Power
to The People's Court
Tommy decides to act as his own legal
representation after Sheneneh sues him for hitting her car. Meanwhile,
she's picked legal eagle Ronnie Cochran for her defense dream team.
5-17 I,
Martin, Take Thee Pam?
Martin takes Pam back to the tropical
island where he was wed after he learns that his marraige to Gina is invalid.
He's actually married to Pam!
5-18 Auction
Martin gives his faulty cuckoo clock
to Pam, who donates the noisy thing to a charity auction. Soon, both are
scheming ways to get the clock back, after learning its real value.
5-19 Daddy
Dearest
John Amos guests as Tommy's gung-ho
ex-marine father, who's not at ease with his son's behavior. Meanwhile,
Martin becomes a noisy silent partner after he invests in Nipsey's bar.
5-20 Stake-Out
Pam gets a birthday surprise when a
handsome detective uses her apartment for a stakeout. But it's she who's
ready to commit a crime when Martin tries to get in on the action.
5-21 Goin'
for Mine
Unemployed Pam becomes excited when
she meets Martin's high school buddy. A talent scout who tells her about
an opening at his record company.
5-22 One
Flew over the Hoochie's Nest
Pam's twin cousin, Tammy, visits. The
sisters end up at each others throats after Pam is carted off to a mental
hospital. The same one her twin, Tammy, just escaped from!
5-23 California,
Here We Come (1)
Martin and Gina must say good bye to
Detroit and all their friends. New job offers in Los Angeles prompt them
to move. As they prepare, they gather the gang and recall past good times.
There are plenty of flashback scenes from earlier shows. Cameo appearances
include Lou Rawls, George Clinton, and Lisa Leslie. In addition, there's
a romantic development for Cole and Shanise.
5-24 California, Here We Come (2)
Olympic basketball player Lisa Leslie,
Lou Rawls and George Clinton appear in this conclusion of the series finale.
