They get engaged. 6- 111 Florida's Homecoming (Part 2)Florida returns from Arizona to attend Thelma's wedding. Keith is days away from signing a major professional football contract. 6- 112 Florida's Homecoming (Part 3)The wedding. Keith and Thelma get married. Michael sings (You and I), and J.J plays photographer. Keith trips over J.J and breaks his knee. 6- 113 Florida's Homecoming (Part 4)Now with his broken knee, the honeymoon is spent in the apartment. Keith loses his big football contract - and the doctor says he may never play again. 6- 114 Florida Gets a JobWith both J.J. and Keith unemployed, Florida applies for a job as elementary school bus driver. But the job is about to be given to a relative of Alderman Fred Davis. Then Davis is willing to give the job to Florida instead... if J.J. will paint the Alderman's new campaign posters. 6- 115 Stomach MumpsPenny's 13 year old friend gets pregnant. Willona doesn't know how to explain this, so she says the girl got stomach mumps. Florida is not happy with this non sense, so she sets Penny, and Willona, straight - with facts. 6- 116 J.J, The TeacherJ.J is giving painting lessons. But one boy is acting strange. It turns out the father is dead set against the boy becoming a painter, and shows up and forcibly removes the boy from the class. Then Florida gets involved, and the father changes his mind. 6- 117 Michael's DecisionMichael is becoming increasingly annoyed by lack of privacy at the now crowded apartment. He is unable to study for class, so he plans to move in with a White girl. Florida is shocked, because they are not married. Then Michael meets the girl's eccentric liberal parents. They have encouraged their daughter to date a Black man exclusively, just to be hip. Michael changes his mind and stays at home. 6- 118 J.J. and the Plumber's HelperJ.J. is dating a girl with fancy tastes. So he is reluctant to tell her that he's broke and lost his job. 6- 119 The WitnessSweet Daddy's girl is back in town, but she gets in an accident. J.J. sees the whole thing and is called to testify. Sweet Daddy threatens to hurt J.J. if he doesn't lie for him. 6- 120 The SnowstormA harsh Chicago blizzard strands Florida and her busload of children in an abandoned tenement building. They meet up with an old wino, and build a bonfire to survive. 6- 121 The Traveling ChristmasFlorida wants to throw a Christmas Eve party for the family, but Keith has to work the evening shift. So they all talk the boss into allowing the family to throw their party at the Windy City Taxi Garage. J.J hosts and performs a stand up comic bit. Keith does celebrity impressions. Michael sings a song (Rock You To Your Socks). Bookman, dressed as Santa, performs a hilarious voluptuous exotic female dance. Then Florida, Willona, Thelma, and Penny sing a song dressed as The Pointless Sisters. Silent Night is sang as a grand finale. 6- 122 HousehuntingFlorida wants to buy a house in a Chicago neighborhood, so she applies for a loan. But it gets denied when the bank learns that the house is going to be condemned soon. 6- 123 Florida's Favorite Passenger (Part 1)Little Larry is getting beat up by all the other children on Florida's bus. She brings him home one day to figure out what is wrong. She learns that Larry is hard of hearing, but Larry's mother knows nothing about it. 6- 124 Florida's Favorite Passenger (Part 2)Florida must convince little Larry's stubborn mother that her son has a serious hearing problem. Larry is taken to a doctor, and finally gets the minor ear surgery he needs. 6- 125 Blood Will TellSweet Daddy lay in a hospital bed, in need of a blood transfusion. J.J. has the same blood type and must decide whether or not to donate. 6- 126 Where Have All The Doctors Gone?Florida is upset because all the doctors are moving out of the neighborhood. She has an appointment with the last doctor in the neighborhood - a Black woman. It turns out that she is moving too, because of increasing crime rates. Florida does her best to convince her to stay where she is needed most - in the Black community. 6- 127 J.J. and T.C.J.J. is dating a tomboy. She feels that she is being taken for granted. So she gets J.J. to take her to a dance. 6- 128 The Art ContestJ.J. has been giving a girl painting lessons, but she suffers from lack of self esteem. Meanwhile J.J. enters an art contest, and asks Bookman to fetch the completed painting and bring it to the show. But Bookman accidentally grabs the girls painting instead. It wins the contest! Astonished, J.J. graciously relinquishes the grand prize trophy to her. 6- 129 The PhysicalFlorida is nervous when she learns she must undergo a physical exam the next day to determine whether or not she keeps her bus driving job. She starts sneezing, as if coming down with a bad cold. But Bookman shows up and insists it's that new African Violet plant that she's allergic to. Michael takes the plant out to dump it in a vacant lot, then gets arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. Florida sits in the police station all night until the real assailant is apprehended. Then passes her exam later that morning - half asleep. 6- 130 A Matter of MothersWillona starts to date a guy that seems real nice, getting lots of gifts from him. Then he wants to have a party at Willona's place, and she agrees. He shows up with hookers, drug dealers, and other criminals. Then the police crash the party and take everybody into custody. It turns out that Willona's nice new date is just a con man hired by Penny's biological mother, who wants to regain custody. But the plan backfires when Penny accidentally records something on her new cassette player. 6- 131 The Evans' DilemmaBecause of losing his football career, Keith is suffering from depression. The only time he's happy is right after getting out of the bathroom. Michael and J.J. discover a bottle of vodka in the toilet tank! Keith gets angry and slaps Thelma, who in turn packs Keith's bags to throw him out. Keith promises to stay off alcohol, and they stay together. This episode was not aired in 1979 during the original series run, because Good Times show was cancelled. This episode is eventually added to the series line-up when the show goes into syndication. 6- 132 Cousin RaymondFlorida's rich cousin Raymond comes to visit and it is discovered that he is a gambler. This episode was also unaired, only showing up later in syndicated re-runs. 6- 133 The End of the RainbowGood luck makes this one of the happiest days of all. Willona announces she is moving into a new apartment. Keith reveals the fact that he has just signed a contract with the Chicago bears, and that he has bought a condominium. J.J, walking around in his 'Dyn-o-Man' super hero outfit, announces that he has sold his comic strip and he's getting an apartment. Michael tells everybody about the college dorm he's moving into. Then Thelma announces that she's pregnant and she wants Florida to come live with them to help with the new baby. Then Willona and Keith discover that they will all be neighbors living in the same condominiums!
