James Sr: Junior! You don't offer kool aid to no Mr. and Mrs. Oreo! You gotta offer them champagne and caviar! Mr. Robinson: That does it Mr. Evans! I think it's time you and me get down! James Sr: Get down huh? Listen to this! That's pretty hip talk for somebody from uptown aint it? Mr. Robinson: Where the hell do you think I was before I got Uptown? I was right here! And I busted my butt for a lot of years to get outta' here! And I made it! You make it sound like success is a dirty word Brother! James Sr: No! Success aint a dirty word, it's Fogettin'. Forgettin' where you came from... Brother! Mr. Robinson: You're damn right I'm forgettin'! I don't wanna know the stink of the ghetto no more! And that goes for my wife, and my Daughter! James Sr: What the hell you think I want for my family man! What you think I'm fightin' and scratchin' for? I tell you somethin', if we are lucky enough to make it, there's one thing we aint gonna do -- we aint gonna forget the one's who got stuck here!
